Cliff Drysdale Tennis, the largest tennis management company in the U.S., has appointed local Bermudian, Ashley Brooks as the new Director of Tennis at Rosewood Bermuda and Tucker’s Point Club, effective immediately. One of Bermuda’s top ranked female players, Brooks has a wealth of knowledge teaching the sport and valuable experience in the competitive tennis world. For the past five years she has served as a tennis professional at Tucker’s Point Club. Including the past two as Head Tennis Professional, working alongside former Director of Tennis, Yana Orlova, whom she is assuming the role from.
Under Orlova’s strong leadership, the two successfully elevated the tennis program, garnering record participation amongst local junior and adult players, along with an increase in certified tennis professionals in Bermuda.
“We are very excited to see Ashley’s continued development as a teaching pro and tennis management professional,” said Scott Colebourne, Chief Operating Officer of Cliff Drysdale Tennis.
“Ashley has been an integral part of our internal training program since 2018 and has shown fantastic growth as an individual and part of the Rosewood Bermuda team. The club is in great hands going forward.”
Tucker’s Point Club, in partnership with Cliff Drysdale Tennis – a first on Bermuda – features a comprehensive tennis program for play year-round including a series of lessons, innovative retreats and engaging clinics. As a certified Tennis Professional and now the Director of Tennis, Ashley Brooks is also a national tennis player who has represented Bermuda at both the Fed Cup and Island Games. She facilitates tennis lessons, day camps and clinics that foster members and guests’ passion for the sport.
“We would like to thank Yana for her fantastic leadership over the last two years,” Colebourne said. “The whole team at Rosewood Bermuda and Tucker’s Point Club have played crucial roles in
growing the membership and creating a fantastic tennis program.”
